We carry all the latest test equipment and all of our acoustic testing is completed to a strict quality controlled standard, equivalent to the ANC registration scheme.
We can undertake both acoustic airborne (speech, television etc.) and acoustic impact (footfall) tests in accordance with the requirements of Approved Document E of The Building Regulations and the relevant European and International standards.
ISO.140 for airborne and impact noise measurements and ISO.717 for rating the measurements and producing the single figure rating values.
The single figure rating values of DnTw+Ctr and L'nTw are the values which will be required by your local building control when they requested sound insulation testing on your development.
We can supply advice on remedial Acoustic works, if required; such as optimum construction of floating floors, dry lining of walls and any other appropriate treatments on the market. An investigative look at the sound insulation between dwellings is a good place to start where noise nuisance in domestic situations is an issue.
